Controller

Christian Schröder, [PLACEHOLDER: postal address], email: [PLACEHOLDER: public email, e.g. hi@cschr.dev]. cschr.dev is a personal portfolio site: no shop, no ads, no accounts and no contact form.

Hosting and third parties

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). Like any web server, Vercel processes the data a request needs, such as your IP address and the page you asked for, in order to deliver it. Your browser loads images and videos straight from Contentful (ctfassets.net), which lets Contentful see your IP address. The fonts are served by this site itself; nothing is requested from Google Fonts. Links to other sites such as LinkedIn take you to places where their own privacy policies apply. [PLACEHOLDER: legal basis, how long server logs are kept, transfer to the USA.]

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Both load from cschr.dev itself and set no cookies. They record page views and loading-time measurements, evaluated in aggregate only. [PLACEHOLDER: legal basis.]

Cookies and browser storage

This site sets no cookies and therefore shows no cookie banner. Your browser keeps only the settings the site needs to work, and they stay on your device: your color scheme and the vita's order and filter until you clear them; the project shown last, whether the intro has played and the state of page transitions until you close the tab. You can delete them in your browser at any time. If you copy the email address on the contact page, it goes only to your clipboard. [PLACEHOLDER: legal basis.]

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). To use them, write to the address above. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
